2003-05-16 - STANDIN' ON THEIR TWO FEET AND RINGIN" THEIR OWN BELL

listening to : eurithmic's greatest hits

very tired tonight, so the low bass in the music seems to confirm my weary state! sweet dreams are made of these...

deep synthesize.

annie lennox must be one of the most interesting women! she is truly creative in a way that most women fail to actualize. very strong and self assured. self referenced. i linger in jealousy when a woman breaks free from boxed thinking. but i do not know annie lennox, unless the lens of her music sees into her soul. i think some brave musicians do allow us to know them intimately. i choose the niave position that not all music is corporate driven marketing.

whose that girl running around with you?

what a song! the language of love has left me broken on the rock.

been there i tell ya.

annie is very passionate. i do find that inspiring in a person. someone given to the real immediacy of who they are in totality. someone stated to me once that they thought a real-living person should only do what makes them "itch".

that, tho obvious, seems like a good directive, and it has helped me to say "no" to somethings and "yes" to others. suffering from guilt over what i wanted to say "yes" to seemed to weaken over time.

i am no way close to being with the still, small voice. i think that the creative voice for women is very hard to get to. i recall a study that showed that the most active people creatively score high is not caring about what people thought!

sisters are doin' it for themselves.
