got a few notes, emails and cards already. it is a priveledge to have great friends!

mancub is working on a documentary, so there is a lot of RACKET going on and it is a real challenge to focus here.

some of my birthday celebration with mancub will be delayed due to the documentary needing to take every spare second. gotta get it out the door.

have a phone interview for a job today as well. feels kinda odd to be interviewing on my birthday- guess because it seems like a lot of attention on ME. ME. ME.

the job may be a good thing. reflection: being happy in my current position makes this interview easier. when interviewing for the job i have had since after 9/11 - after collecting unemployment and being without work for four months- this seems more heavenly. can stay where i am or go to higher ground...

i nailed the job i have currently right before 9/11. recall being SO RELEAVED to have a job as i saw the resumes pouring in after 9/11. seemed like the whole world was awave with a tsunami and my little boat had somehow found a port o' call.

the potential job pays twice what i earn now. more stress. more authority. mancub could get insurance coverage. commute-or-move-money-family-time-tasks. this would be less creative directly, but there would perhaps be a great deal of influence over corporate values and philosophy that would have a different creative outcome. also could provide for us better, which counts for something.

more will be revealed.

on another note- sam the cat has had a bath! with rosemary-mint shampoo! FLUFFY!

have no more brain with all the audio imput- if i take this job, maybe we can afford to get a place with a SEPERATE ROOM FOR SOUND DESIGN... smile.
